AMAZING SOUTH INDIA TOUR

DAY 1: ARRIVE BANGALORE (BY AIR)
Meeting and greeting at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2: BANGALORE – MYSORE (150 Kms/ 04 Hrs)
After breakfast, visit Bangalore Palace (Bangalore Palace is a royal palace located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in an area that was owned by Rev. J. Garrett, the first principal of the Central High School in Bangalore, now famous as Central College. The commencement of the construction of the palace is attributed to him). Also visit, Lal bagh botanical gardens (It is an old botanical garden in Bengaluru. First planned and laid out during the dalavaiship of Hyder Ali and later adorned with unique plant species by his son Tippu, it was later managed under numerous British Superintendents before Indian Independence). En route halt at Sriangapatanam. Here visi fort, Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace and the Gumbaz (The Gumbaz at Srirangapatnam is a Muslim mausoleum at the centre of a landscaped garden, holding the graves of Tipu Sultan, his father Hyder Ali, and his mother Fakr-Un-Nisa.) Upon arrival visit the beautiful Brindavan gardens (It is undeniably one of the best terrace gardens in the world, lies adjoining the Krishnarajasagara Dam which is built across the river Kaveri.) Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3: MYSORE – COORG (120 Kms/ 03 Hrs)
After breakfast, visit Somnathpur Chennakesava Temple (Also known as Kesava Temple, is a Vaishnava Hindu temple on the banks of River Kaveri at Somanathapura, Karnataka, India. The temple was consecrated in 1258 CE by Somanatha Dandanayaka, a general of the Hoysala King Narasimha III.) Also visit, Mysore Palace (One of the most visited monuments in India. The palace is built in Indo-Saracenic Revival style of architecture and splendid example of royal architecture.) Also visit Chamundi Hills, (a picturesque and popular tourist attraction of Mysore. An ancient temple dedicated to goddess Chamundeshwari, which is located on the top of the chamundi hills) and Bull Temple (Hindu temple dedicated to Nandi with a massive, popular sculpture of a bull carved from stone.) Later drive to Coorg (Located amidst imposing mountains in Karnataka with a perpetually misty landscape, Coorg is the place to be for all nature lovers. This popular coffee producing hill station is not only popular for its beautiful green hills and the streams cutting right through them) Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4: COORG
After delicious breakfast, visit Talcauvry (is the place that is generally considered to be the source of the river Kaveri and a holy place for many Hindus. It is located on Brahmagiri hills near Bhagamandala in Coorg).and Bhagamandala (At this place, the Kaveri is joined by two tributaries, the Kannike and the mythical Sujyothi river). Later, visit the ancient Onkareshwara temple (It is an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is situated in the town of Madikeri in Coorg) and Madikeri fort (It was first founded by Mudduraja in the second half of the 17th century. He also built a palace inside the fort. It was eventually rebuilt and restructured in granite by Tipu Sultan who named the site as Jaffarabad.) Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 5: COORG-OOTY (240 Kms/06 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Ooty (It is a resort town in the Western Ghats mountains, in southern India's Tamil Nadu state. Founded as a British Raj summer resort, it retains a working steam railway line). Upon arrival, visit Botanical garden, tea estates and enjoy the ultimate experience of boating at Ooty lake. You can also enjoy hiking, horse riding and many more activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 6: OOTY - COONOOR ( 22 Kms / 40 Min)
Early morning drive to Doddabetta Peak (The highest in the Nilgiris, the name derived from two Kannada words, Dodda means Big and betta means Hill, making it Doddabetta). There is a reserved forest area around the peak. After breakfast, drive to Coonoor. Rest of day will be at leisure to visit Sims Park (at a height of 1780 meters above mean sea level. Here the maximum temperature goes up to 30 degree Celsius and the minimum falls to 5 °C. The average rain fall of this garden is 150 cm. It extends over an area of 12 hectares of undulating land and possesses a number of natural advantages) Enjoy walking through tea estates or drive to Lambs' Rock (It has a view of the Coimbatore plains, tea estates and coffee estates). Drive back to Ooty and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 7: OOTY- COIMBATORE (100 Kms /03 Hrs) COIMBATORE-ONWARD DESTINATION
After breakfast proceed to Coimbatore. Upon arrival transfer to Coimbatore airport to connect flight for onward destination.
