Start in London and end in Edinburgh! With the S K Holidays The England - Scotland Tour, you have a 9 days tour package taking you through London, England and 4 other destinations in Europe.

Day 1: LONDON
Welcome to England! After your international flight to the European continent, you will arrive at the Heathrow International Airport in London. A private car will be waiting for you in order to take you to downtown to your hotel. After registration, time at leisure. Overnight at the selected Hotel.

Day 2: LONDON
Breakfast at the hotel. Day of sightseeing around the capital’s most notable monuments.... You will start your tour at 10:00 a.m. ast the Tourism Island. Take a leisurely, regal stroll through the capital, visiting significant sites, hangouts and shops that the Royal Family are known for. Lasting approximately two hours, an expert guide will take you to see various clubs, churches and magnificent palaces that have played important roles in the lives of the royals. See the impressive St James’s Palace – where The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall lived, and, of course, Buckingham Palace - residence to Her Majesty the Queen. You may even see the changing of the guard and learn more about this iconic and historic tradition. Pass the famous Fortnum and Mason and learn about the history of cream teas – an important and scrumptious British tradition. See the Horseguards and important parts of the Crown Estate. Learn about Royal Warrants on Jermyn Street, a place in London known for its many establishments that supply the Royal Family with various goods and services. This is an excellent way to indulge your royal interests and find out more about the most luxurious spots in the city. You will finish the tour at Westminster Station by Big Ben. You can then take a nice walk along the Thames River until you get to the Tower of London and Crown Jewels (entrance fee not included). During its 1000 year history this impressive fortress has been a Royal Palace, prison, mint and even a zoo! Be dazzled by the Cullinan diamonds and the spectacular Kohi–i–Noor at the Crown Jewels. After this, you will experience a River Thames Boat Ride. Setting off from the Tower of London, take to the water on a River Thames boat ride and enjoy a tour of the London sights as you head towards the beautiful Greenwich. There, we will start exploring the quaint beauty of Greenwich covering the iconic tea clipper Cutty Sark and the Old Royal Naval College, designed by Christopher Wren. After the visit in Greenwich, get back on board the River Boat and take in more of the city sights as you sail towards Central London where the day will end (almost). You will then walk to the London Eye to enjow magnificent views of London from above. You will love it! Back to the hotel and Overnight .

Day 3: LONDON
Breakfast at the hotel. No visit in London is completed if you don ´t visit the most important museums in the city. There are two museums you shall visit, the British Museum and the Museum of Natural History. Another unmissable Museum is Madame Toussaud where you can get a selfie with the whole royal family, with Michael Jackson, the Beatles and many, many more. Please let us know at the moment of booking which one(s) you will love to visit to organize the visits. Rest of the day at leisure for private activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: LONDON –WINDSOR CASTLE –STONEHENGE -LONDON
After breakfast, departure to Windsor – awash with natural beauty, discover the 17th century historical monuments which line its cobbled streets. Fans of the Royal family will be in their element! Steeped in history, you will have the option to visit the home of Queen Elizabeth II and enjoy a through the keyhole experience of the world’s largest and oldest castle. Then, we will continue to the mysterious Stonehenge, situated on Salisbury Plain, 40 ton rocks stand alone since their arrival 5,000 years ago. Abundance of theories surround Stonehenge; from a religious temple to an astronomical clock and even a Bronze Age burial ground! Decide for yourself whilst discovering the history of this mysterious monument. Please note that the tickets for Windosr and Stonhenge are not included. We can help you purchasing them.Our next stop is Bath. Standing proudly on the slopes of the River Avon, beautiful Bath was the first city in England to be designated an UNESCO World Heritage site. The gorgeous 15th century Bath Abbey, the stunning Georgian architecture, the romantic Pulteney Bridge, modeled on Florence's Ponte Vecchio, are all sights to linger on in the memory of your day. Explore the delights of Bath at your leisure. We will return to London after the tour. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: LONDON – LIVERPOOL
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will leave to Liverpool. Get to the train station and start your journey. Upon arrival, a private car will be waiting for you and drive you to the hotel. Liverpool, the port city is noted for its rich architectural heritage and home to many buildings regarded as amongst the greatest examples of their respective styles in the world. Several areas of the city centre were granted World Heritage Site status by the UNESCO in 2004. But Liverpool is most famous as the birthplace of the Beatles and recognized by Guinness World Records as the World Capital City of Pop. IN the afternoon, step aboard the colourful Magical Mystery Tour bus for a fun and fascinating 2 hour tour of Beatles Liverpool. You’ll see all the places associated with John, Paul, George and Ringo as they grew up, met and formed the band that would take the pop world by storm. See the Beatles childhood homes, schools and colleges and get up close to places that inspired some of their most memorable songs – Penny Lane and Strawberry Field. You’ll be kept entertained along the way by one of our professional Beatles Guides and some Fab Four tunes. The tour finishes at the legendary Cavern Club where you can enjoy live music every afternoon from the Cavern’s resident musicians. Back to the hotel. Please note that your tour ticket also gives you free general admission to the Cavern Club in the evening of your tour date.. Overnight stay here in Liverpool.

Day 6: LIVERPOOL - EDINBURGH
After breakfast, you will get to the train station to take your train to Edinburgh. Upon arrival, a private car will be waiting for you and will take you to the selected hotel. In the afternoon, you will participate on an Old Town Historical walking tour. Join a local historian on our historical walking tour around Edinburgh’s famous Royal Mile. Learn about Edinburgh’s fascinating history, literature heroes, infamous criminals and battles that shaped the city into what is today. This tour will take you into parts of Edinburgh that you did not know existed, off the tourist trail. From hidden Victorian gardens to centuries old buildings with plenty a story attached. Hear about how the first skyscrapers in the world were built in Edinburgh,indeed we hosted the tallest buildings in the world long before any other country caught onto the trend. Find out who the famous local criminal was that became the inspiration for Jekyll & Hyde. Learn where the word Black Market came from, where Ebeneezer Scrooge is buried (yes, really) and how Edinburgh University worked closely with the serial killers Burke & Hare. Edinburgh’s history is long and fascinating, made even more special when told by our enthusiastic and passionate guides. Our tour includes a visit to Edinburgh’s Underground Vaults, one of the most hidden and historic places in all of Edinburgh. Your guide will tell you about our Underground’s dark history and some of the strangest things that happen down there as well as some famous historic characters connected to our specific vaults. Overnight.

Day 7: EDINBURGH (Loch Ness and Highlands)
Breakfast at the hotel. You will join today the Loch Ness and the Highlands of Scotland Tour. You will start the tour in Edinburgh heading towards Stirling, catching views of the castle and The Wallace Monument. We will continue towards Callander where we will have a morning coffee stop and the chance to meet “Hamish”, the Hairy Coo. Our journey continues northwards into the Highlands over Rannoch Moor until we come to the dark brooding Pass of Glencoe where we will make a photo stop and hear the haunting story of the famous massacre of 1692. After crossing Loch Leven at Ballachulish, we stop for lunch in the Fort William area before following the course of the Caledonian Canal up the Great Glen to Fort Augustus on Loch Ness. Here we will cruise on the loch for an hour or so, or enjoy the tranquil little village on the banks of Loch Ness. After our stop at Fort Augustus and Loch Ness, the tour will begin it's return journey south. You will pass by Loch Laggan, the set for the internationally recognised 'Monarch of the Glen', before making a stop in picturesque Pitlochry, a delightful Victorian resort town. Journeying past Perth and through the Kingdom of Fife, we will cross the Forth Road Bridge alongside the magnificent Forth Railway Bridge before arriving back in Edinburgh with a million memories. Overnight

Day 8: EDINBURGH (Highland Whisky Experience)
Breakfast at the hotel. Starting in Edinburgh, we will travel north over the Forth Road Bridge, take in views of one of the best bridges in the world, the Forth Bridge (rail.) After a photo stop, we will travel through Perth along the banks of the river Tay. After driving through the scenic, highland countryside we will arrive at Glenturret Distillery. Started by William Gloag (the son of a cellar man at Scone Palace) this distillery is home to “the famous grouse,” the best selling whiskey in Scotland! With plenty of time to enjoy a tour of the distillery ´s and browse the shop, this tour also includes a brand new interactive show, you are sure to find your visit to Glenturret unforgettable. On the way home we will take a leisurely route through Gleneagles, home to the world-famous hotel and golf course. We will also pass by Dunfermline, burial place to many of the kings crowned at Scone.

Day 9: EDINBURGH - AIRPORT
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Castle of Edinburgh on your own pace, one of the most exciting historic sites in Western Europe. Set in the heart of Scotland's dynamic capital city it is sure to capture your imagination. The scenery will take your breath away. Edinburgh Castle dominates Scotland's capital city from its great volcanic summit, and its story has helped shape the nation's story: battles and sieges were fought over it, royalty lived and died within its walls, and countless generations have been inspired by it. You will see among others, the Portcullis Gate, where you will start visiting the argyle battery, the Argyle Tower, the Prisons of War Exhibition, the military Prisons, the Royal Scots Museum, the National War Museum and many other highlights. According to your flight plan, we will be taking you to the airport on private basis for your connecting flihgt back home.
